Jump into an exciting adventure in a story told by ancient storytellers. Corinth in concert brings the familiar songs and characters from the musical Corinth to the audience in a new kind of concert musical. It is the year A.D. 54. All is well in the Roman Empire as long as the holy fire maintained by the priestesses of the Temple of Vesta burns and brings safety to the entire empire. So you can only imagine the fear that would grip the entire empire if one of the priestesses of Vesta mysteriously disappeared. But fortunately, that is impossible… 

Based on the original script by Sirkku Hoikkala, the dramatized concert includes 14 songs from the musical Corinth composed by Johanna Veevo, performed by four amazing singers. During the concert, the performers will take on the roles of ten different characters and you will also meet familiar characters from the musical Corinth, such as Vesta's maid Cornelia and the Christian teacher couple Akyla and Prisca. The concert has been dramatized by Janne Simola Saarenketo, who directed the premiere of the musical Corinth. 

The strong message of the musical Corinth about building bridges remains the main message of Corinth in concert. The concert continues to strongly address themes of hope and presents what loving your neighbor meant to Christian believers in Corinth. The concert is also a historical dive into the world of early Christians, where a different society and many other religions served as the environment for the spread of a new religion in the world. 

Corinth in concert is located in a Greek port city, Corinth, under Roman rule, in the year A.D. 54, just a few decades after the resurrection of Christ. The duration of the work is approx. 1h 15 min.
